Marine Park

Marine Park and Merchants Wharf Mall are located at the heart of Juneau’s downtown waterfront and offer locals and tourists a place to experience Juneau’s history. The design establishes stronger pedestrian oriented connections. This includes a seawalk to Juneau’s waterfront that connections the cruise ship terminal to the existing city-owned Marine Park site and the adjacent privately-owned Merchants Wharf. Marine Park’s design builds upon design criteria developed in the Long Range Waterfront Master Plan for the City/Borough of Juneau. The proposed improvements will enhance the visitor’s experience of Juneau’s urban waterfront and will offer a place for community events including concerts and markets.
