Langley Boat Harbor & Environs & Master Plan
J.A. Brennan developed a master plan for an enlarged Boat Harbor that also provides linkages to the City’s downtown business district. Working with the City and stakeholders, J.A. Brennan developed an identifiable visual and physical character for the Boat Harbor and Environs that creates a diversity of recreational activities for locals and visitors. Elements of the master plan reflect the history of the site, enhance and restore the shoreline, and create connections to the downtown business district. By utilizing innovative design techniques, minimizing light blocking structures, and constructing the marina beyond the eel grass beds, effects on fish and wildlife will be minimized; and Langley’s connection to Saratoga Passage will be enhanced.
