Orting Bridge for Kids

J.A. Brennan served as the aesthetic bridge designer for the conceptual design of two new pedestrian bridges, one over SR 162 and one crossing the Carbon River. These bridges will serve as a part of an emergency escape route for Orting in the event of lahar.

The bridge over SR 162 will also serve as a visual gateway into Orting, with a design character that meets town’s Turn of the Century Western and Victorian architectural guidelines.
