Tom Walker holds a Master of City Design and Social Science from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Washington. As an interdisciplinary designer he is most interested in the places where landscape architecture, planning and social science intersect. His approach is driven by a belief that good design must positively respond to social, economic and environmental challenges. Tom's experience includes local and international work where complex projects have combined elements of landscape architecture, urban design, planning, land-use regulation and data analysis.
Tom serves as the Chair of the Edmonds Architectural Design Board and in his spare time he enjoys skiing, boating and rooting for the Huskies.
